If you visit Jubail but miss the Ferry Ride, your trip will surely be left incomplete. When you go to Fanateer beach, you will find yachts surfing on the beach and few boats harboring on the bank. Riding in a ferry at Jubail beach is one of the best experience I have ever had so far. It brings you very close to the nature and gives you peace of mind and immense pleasure.

The ferry service starts after Asar prayer and it takes you to journey for about 30-40 minutes if you are riding a ferry as there are also personal boats available. There is a man standing in yacht area who gives you a ticket and you can climb on the ferry deck and wait for rest of the people arrive as there is capacity for 40-50 people on double decker ferry. The lower deck is covered but upper deck is open and you can sit on the chairs or walk on the deck to enjoy the view as per your liking. The ticket for a ferry ride is SAR 20 for each person. Considering the cost, it is worth the wait and let me tell you something that travelling on ferry is more beautiful experience than boating as you can easily move around on the deck and capture the beautiful surroundings from every angle to make it the memorable experience of life time.

There are also personal boats available which coast SAR 200 for one family (maximum 8 persons) and for one ride. The advantage of taking a personal boat is that you do not have to wait longer as you pay and they take you on a ride.

I went to Jubail in January; it is definitely a beautiful time to visit as you will love the warmth of the sun and cool breeze of the sea at the same time.
