Last year when I was searching for a place to get the car windows tinted, I came to know that car window tinting is very expensive in the kingdom. It usually starts from 1500 SAR and goes to 2500 SAR for a sedan. As there were some sales going on and even after a 30 % discount it was still very expensive. Tentatively I visited the site, as I am not a fan of online shopping. In the auto category I saw the following ad:

As i knew the market price of car tinting of 3M costs around 1800 riyals, i was really impressed with the quoted price of 555 SAR. But immediately the fear of online shopping took over and I needed some confirmation before going through the deal. I read all the details of the deal, terms and conditions of website & FAQ, but still was not convinced enough to go through the deal. Then i went online and searched for the reputation of the site and after a lot of positive views I decided to go through with the deal. The deal itself was very impressive offering a 69% discount & once i was satisfied with the website, I immediately proceed to buy the deal.

Cobone.com was launched in 2010 in Dubai. Earlier it was only limited to UAE, but now it has also expanded to KSA offering deals in Riyadh, Jeddah & Dammam. It is a site on which different businesses offers online exclusive deals & people can purchase coupons of the deals online and can avail the services themselves or present as a gift to loved ones.

Following is the procedure to get a coupon for a deal:

Choose a deal that you are interested in. Read all the detail and terms and conditions of the deal. Verify if the conditions & timing of the offer suits you, such as till when the offer is valid, is it for some specific shop / outlet or is available in any branch in the city, prior booking is required or not and etc.
Once satisfied with the deal, click on “Buy As A Gift” button to pay for the deal or click on “Add to Cart” to keep on shopping. Once you have selected all the required items you can proceed to check out.
Then choose the payment type and provide all the required information to complete the checkout process. You can make payment via VISA, Mastercard, Paypal or can pay later via “Cash on Delivery”.
Once the check out process is complete & you have made the payment, the coupon will be delivered to you by email. You can also download the coupon from the “My Account” section of the website. If your mode of payment is “Cash on Delivery” then the coupon will be available once the payment has been made.
When I received my coupon, rather than making booking via call I preferred to go to the Auto Pioneer outlet to make the booking. This was simply to avoid any miscommunication due to language constraints.
