We all know that Riyadh is famous for hundreds of fast food outlets. You can find every local and international fast food chain around every corner. But there are very few burger points that stand out and Highway 5 is one of them. If you have not tried it yet, you are surely missing something tasty. I heard about Highway 5 from a friend and on weekend I with my husband decided to give it a try.

Highway 5 – Abdul Aziz Road

Highway 5 now has its branch in the Riyadh city which is just 2 minutes drive from exit 5. As we entered the restaurant, the ambiance felt cozy and pleasant. The family section is upstairs and bachelors section is downstairs. The interior is eye catching with highway pictures to compliment the name of the brand.

I ordered a chicken burger with fries and my husband ordered a double petty beef burger.

The chicken burger was hot and spicy and the fillet was grilled. It was tender and juicy, if you are hungry then this delicious baby won’t take you long to finish. The burger bun was so soft and petty so tender that you don’t feel full after one burger and suddenly looking for more.

The beef burger as my husband tasted it, he described it as the best burger he has ever had in the city so far. The beef petty was soft, moist and delicious and the burger completely holds its shape and you don’t mess around like you do eating other burgers with regular fried patties.

The fries were crispy and tasty but not very extra ordinary.

Why I liked Highway 5 better than other burger points is because here you won’t find the regular fried petty. Its grilled which is healthy and they bake their own bread which makes the burger extra delicious.

But the menu is limited so you won’t find many options. There is chicken burger, beef burger, mini burgers, fried shrimps, fries and some few deserts for sweet tooth.

The only thing that bothered me is that the menu was in Arabic so you have to guess and place orders by pictures.

I would highly recommend Highway 5 as it is very different and tasty from other burgers.
